Track Name: Greenhouse
Every time I lose my edge
End up right back
Where I wanted
Every time i lose my head
On the right path
Let's be honest
I guess I could be more honest
With myself

Every time you say my name
My head spits purple flame
Every time you spin my frame
I become pale and numb
Fragile as they come
I guess that we are the same
I guess that we're just the same
Track Name: Hopeless
You're on your own
Far from home
Far from me
And the city
You show up late
You make me wait
But you look so pretty
You don't like the way I think
But you love the way I sing
And I, I love your way
You don't care about me at all
But I'm still just a call away

Out of the womb and then into the world
Somewhere in between all the boys and the girls
The things that you say, no they never make sense
And things don't turn out how you plan them in your head

Your face is red
Your hands are cold
You think you know
But you don't
And never did

You say we're out of the womb and then into the world
Somewhere in between all the boys and the girls
The things that you say, no they never make sense
And things don't turn out how you plan them in your head
Is a mess and your hair is unkempt
Sort yourself out kid, you heard what they said
You think it's a lie but you can't be convinced
You ain't coming back from the dead
You're just hopeless in hope

I don't mind falling behind
Doesn't cross my mind
Doesn't cross my mind
You're just too kind

You say we're out of the womb and then into the world
Somewhere in between all the boys and the girls
The things that you say, no they never make sense
And things don't turn out how you plan them in your head
Is a mess and your hair is unkempt
Sort yourself out kid, you heard what they said
You think it's a lie but you can't be convinced
You ain't coming back you're just
Hopelessly in hope for the womb and in hope for the world
Somewhere in between all the boys and all the
Things that you say, no they never make sense
And things don't turn out how you plan them in your head
Track Name: New Years
Staying inside
Don’t want to be like them
Trying too hard to be
Recognized
Feeding from slithered compliments
Not hard to see
They want to seem like they have apathy
When they care what people see
Making a fad
Out of a struggle
Too real for most people

Buzzing
In my ear
No longer
Can hear clear
Piss off, ignore them
Have a good New Years

You try to seem like a white knight
When your light is in the wrong space
Look around
Can’t you hear how stupid you sound
It’s not a fight
We have to deal with the same future
Start thinking right
Stop marketing weakness
As oddities on my screen

Buzzing
In my ear
No longer
Can hear clear
Piss off, ignore them
Have a good New Years
Track Name: As I Boarded The Plane
Sit in the green grass
Dew in your doey eyes
Holding that ripped shirt
What a surprise
You keep it like a secret
Everywhere you go
Tell me does it keep you warm
From the Halifax snow

Don't stop calling now, my dear
You've found me out

No one stays the same
This I am told
But it's one thing to know
And another to grasp or hold
So keep yourself a secret
From everyone you know
Tell me who keeps you warm
From the Halifax snow

Don't stop calling now, my dear
You've found me out

As I boarded the plane, all I could think about was the mess that I was leaving behind me. Short bursts of apologetic speeches left unmade clanged around the edges of my mind like a rusty coin in an old dryer. You once said to me that as we grow older we start to leave pieces of ourselves everywhere we go. Looking out along the wing I can feel portions missing from my quickly sodiating body. Montreal and Eygalieres both took limbs from us, from me - there is no more us. Us has been laid to rest without any bits left to take, buried hastily under the pavement on Coburg Road. We're taking off now and I can't help but start to cry. I know I'll never see those parts of myself again - of us, of me. We're in the air now and with the wings of a giant metal bird I'm gone, gone, far, far away for a long, long time. An opportunity wasted. I felt my side and realized another piece was missing. Lying lifeless at the front of the cabin invisible to all eyes save those that lay beneath lenses of salt water, mourning their own corporeal losses. It must have fallen off as I boarded the plane...
Track Name: Part-Time
I'm lost,
In a sea of words I am a wreck
Wherever you are not
I'm washed up on the rocks
It's a far cry from your part-time loving
That's gonna save me
It's a far cry from your part-time loving
That's gonna save me

Cigarette stains
They mark your sarcastic refrains
Until what remains
What remains of you?

I know that our time keeps passing hands
But I won't refuse to understand

Maybe I'm flawed
But I don't need to be the one to tell you that
It's a far cry from your part-time loving
That's gonna save me
It's a far cry from your part-time loving
That's gonna save me

Cigarette stains
They mark your sarcastic refrains
Until what remains
What remains of you?

I know that our time keeps passing hands
But I won't refuse to understand
I know that you ain't got it all planned
But I won't refuse to understand
