lyrics
You're on your own
Far from home
Far from me
And the city
You show up late
You make me wait
But you look so pretty
You don't like the way I think
But you love the way I sing
And I, I love your way
You don't care about me at all
But I'm still just a call away
Out of the womb and then into the world
Somewhere in between all the boys and the girls
The things that you say, no they never make sense
And things don't turn out how you plan them in your head
Your face is red
Your hands are cold
You think you know
But you don't
And never did
You say we're out of the womb and then into the world
Somewhere in between all the boys and the girls
The things that you say, no they never make sense
And things don't turn out how you plan them in your head
Is a mess and your hair is unkempt
Sort yourself out kid, you heard what they said
You think it's a lie but you can't be convinced
You ain't coming back from the dead
You're just hopeless in hope
I don't mind falling behind
Doesn't cross my mind
Doesn't cross my mind
You're just too kind
You say we're out of the womb and then into the world
Somewhere in between all the boys and the girls
The things that you say, no they never make sense
And things don't turn out how you plan them in your head
Is a mess and your hair is unkempt
Sort yourself out kid, you heard what they said
You think it's a lie but you can't be convinced
You ain't coming back you're just
Hopelessly in hope for the womb and in hope for the world
Somewhere in between all the boys and all the
Things that you say, no they never make sense
And things don't turn out how you plan them in your head
This creative San Francisco guitar band melds trip hop, krautrock, My Bloody Valentine-esque noise, and jangle pop hooks. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 19, 2024
Tacoma's Karass whittled these bleak dream-pop gems from free-form jams, and the rhythms that rattle through them have a live energy. Bandcamp New & Notable Aug 24, 2021
I downloaded this album onto my flip-phone after being discharged from the psych ward. Coming off a manic ep; I found it incredibly good walking music, I'd walk along the town belt listening to these songs or the local radio. Honey Wire was also my ringtone for a little while. Complicated and lovely music. elayna
